CHARTWELL HOUSE got off the mark today at Epsom on only his fourth attempt. Ridden positively by jockey Jim Crowley, they were in a prime position turning for home to make their challenge. After a hard fought battle up the home straight, the step up to 7f really suited as he managed to get his head in front just on the line to win by a head.

He has had some promising runs so far and back in cooler waters after his run at Glorious Goodwood, this son of Churchill was able to show his true form. We are thrilled for owners Kennet Valley Thoroughbreds, who have a had a fantastic year with all of their horses with us this year and now hopefully have a young and upcoming horse to look forward to next year.
