EXCEEDINGLY REGAL broke his maiden tag in style at Kempton on Friday as he made all of the running to win by a diminishing head at the line. He has been fairly consistent on his 6 previous runs but the combination of 1m on the all- weather really played to his strengths as he got an easy lead out in front and showed a brilliant attitude to knuckle down where it mattered.

He looks to be an improving horse for owner Abdulla Al Mansoori and hopefully he can build on his maiden success.
