LELABAD has posted some really consistent efforts since joining us last year so it was great for him to finally get his head in front at Chelmsford on Saturday. Settled in mid- field by jockey Neil Callan, he was switched away from the other runners in the home straight, giving him the best possible chance of an uninterrupted challenge. It was a move that proved crucial as the pair flashed past the post in front by just a head.

This win continued a great week for owners John, Bex and Peter Seabrook whose Arab Cinder scored at the start of the week. After winning by such a small margin we are hopeful Lelabad can continue his great run of form in this grade through the next few weeks.
