FRENCH MINSTREL has been in flying form since going handicapping and he made it three wins in a row today at Lingfield. Having raced behind the bridle for much of the way as usual, he joined the leader coming down the hill and kept on gamely to the line and win by just over a length. His jockey Callum Shepherd was keen to get the gelding rolling early as he can take a bit of time to reach top gear and he had the rest of the field playing catch up from then on. He only does enough in his races and looks to keep a little back for himself, he still looks like a horse on the up and depending on what view the handicapper takes, we would hope he could win a couple more this season.

It is an exciting time of the year as we unveil some unexposed horses from their winter breaks and the flat season begins to get into full swing. We look to be busy over the next few weeks and hopefully the horses can continue the winning thread.
