FORGOTTEN TREASURE secured the 2nd win of her career, and her first on turf, at Brighton on Sunday. She pinged out of the stalls and took a keen hold under in form jockey Callum Shepherd. Quickly finding herself at the head of the field she made every post a winning one. She travelled strongly for much of the race but came under pressure from 1 furlong out. Under a strong drive from her jockey, the 3 year old homebred filly by Ten Sovereigns was able to hold on and win the 7f Handicap by a neck. Well done to owner/breeders Kingsmead Bloodstock!
This was our 30th winner of the year, including foreign runners. The horses remain in fine form with the yard maintaining a very healthy 19% strike rate.
