FELLOWSHIP justified market support in his first try in handicap company today when scoring by just a short head at Great Yarmouth under jockey Marco Ghiani.
Having been a slow burner in his 3 maiden runs and earning a lowly handicap rating of 44, he was given the best possible chance by the handicapper of getting competitive when able to run in handicaps. After being slow away from the stalls, he was ridden with patience throughout the race. Turning for home the field began to fade away and Fellowship was able to start picking up the pieces and found himself in front just before the line.
He is the first horse in the Badger's Set ownership so it is great to get them a winner and hopefully Fellowship can continue to make more progress now with his first win under his belt.
