REGAL ENVOY landed the 2026 edition of the Fitzdares Sprint Series Handicap over 5 furlongs at Windsor Racecourse on Monday evening, making it back-to-back victories in the race.
Ridden by champion jockey Oisin Murphy, the seven-year-old travelled prominently along the far rail before being asked for his effort approaching the final furlong. Taking up the lead just over a furlong from home, REGAL ENVOY quickly put daylight between himself and his rivals, showing a clean pair of heels as he powered clear at the top of the straight.
Despite the late challenge from Society Kiss, REGAL ENVOY kept on strongly inside the final furlong and was always doing enough, crossing the line a comfortable 1½ lengths in front to record another impressive success for trainer William Knight.
A true Windsor specialist, REGAL ENVOY once again demonstrated his speed, determination, and affinity for the Berkshire track with a commanding performance.
