PERSAZZ made the perfect start to his racing career with an impressive victory in the 6f Restricted Novice Stakes at Ripon on 18 June under a strong ride by Luke Morris.
The two-year-old colt by Persian Force showed plenty of professionalism throughout the contest. Racing prominently against the rail, PERSAZZ travelled strongly before making smooth headway approaching the final furlong. Once asked for his effort, he quickened clear of his rivals and kept on well to score by 1¼ lengths.
Despite facing a field of experienced and well-supported rivals, PERSAZZ displayed both speed and determination, suggesting there is more to come. With this promising first outing now behind him, PERSAZZ can look forward to stepping up the ladder in the coming months.
