DREAM WIN ON DEBUT FOR SOLDIER OF THE SEA

SOLDIER OF THE SEA made the perfect start to his racing career with a nice winning debut at Ffos Las.

Purchased at the Arqana Breeze-Up Sale, the two-year-old colt by Coolmore stallion Blackbeard has shown plenty of promise in his work at home. While we were hopeful he would run an encouraging race, it was fantastic to see him put everything together so professionally on his first start.

Despite his inexperience, Soldier Of The Sea settled well, travelled strongly throughout and showed a willing attitude when asked to quicken by jockey Taylor Fisher, staying on strongly.
