Bintaryana continued her progressive rise through the sprint ranks with a determined victory in the British EBF Fillies’ Handicap at York on 12 June.
Partnered by Marco Ghiani, the three-year-old arrived at the Knavesmire in excellent form after a series of consistent performances, including a strong runner-up effort on her handicap debut. Sent off among the market leaders, she justified that confidence with a polished display over six furlongs.
Carrying just 8st 7lb, Bintaryana travelled smoothly throughout before producing a decisive challenge in the closing stages to secure the Class 2 contest, picking up more than £18,000 in prize money.
This win represented another significant step forward for the lightly raced filly, whose profile suggests there could be more success to come as the season progresses.
