Another win for TIMELY AFFAIR!

TIMELY AFFAIR recorded his third career victory under Jack Nicholls, taking the 7f Apprentice Handicap at Southwell on Thursday.

Ridden prominently throughout, he took the lead just over a furlong from home. Responding well when asked for his effort, he kept on strongly inside the final furlong and held on gamely to secure the win.

Congratulations to his owner and breeder, Mrs Susie Hartley. Mrs Hartley also owns ROYAL VELVET, TIMELY AFFAIR’S half-sister, who has been a wonderful flagbearer for the yard.
