SUNDAYINMAY made her seasonal reappearance in style yesterday at Lingfield by winning easily under Hayley Turner. Racing against only 2 other rivals and with no stalls- due to lightening! She was settled well behind the leader and rode the race like a piece of work at home. Turning for home Turner eased her out to challenge and she swooped past, winning by 1 1/4 lengths at the line.

She won twice last year for owner/ breeder Renate Baenziger- Gisi, so it is great to get another win on the scoreboard this season. She had a lovely return to the track by not having a hard race so hopefully this sets her up well for the remainder of the season.
