AUTHOR'S DREAM rolled back the years with another impressive display today after winning by 2 1/4 lengths at Southwell under Marco Ghiani. Having his first spin on the newly laid Tapeta surface we were unsure as to how he would take to it. However the long straight really worked to his strengths as he powered through to the front up the home straight to win by a widening margin.

He has been a wonderful servant through the years for is owners Mr & Mrs Conroy and although he has suffered set backs, he always gives his all in his races. We look forward to continuing his already fruitful winter campaign, especially now he has options at another all- weather track which he loves.
