2019 End of Season Review
on 30 December 2018

2019 brought us a total of 20 winners from 203 runners, maintaining a solid 10% strike rate and netting £203,881 in prize money.

Our stable star Soto Sizzler was once again our highest earner, winning 2 races and £52,349 in prize money. The highlight of the season saw him win the Class 2 1m4f Handicap at Epsom on Derby Day. The 4yo son of Mastercraftsman finished the season on a mark of 96. He stays in training for 2020 and will hopefully be seen at some nice meetings.

Seinesational also won 2 races and narrowly missed out on a Glorious Goodwood win when going down by a neck in the 2m4f Class 2 Handicap. He ran consistently throughout the year being placed 5 times in addition to his 2 wins, picking up £26,071 in prize money. He finished the season on a mark of 83 and remains an exciting prospect as a 5yo for 2020.

Sir Busker also won 2 nice races at Goodwood in June over 7f and at Kempton in September over a mile, earning £24,718 for the year. He heads into 2020 off a mark of 92 and still looks to be improving.

Unit of Assessment had a busy year, running a total of 13 times. He won 3 of those races and was placed 4 times. Kingston Kurrajong and Shifting Gold both won 2 races each, along with the promising 2yo Progressive Rating who heads into his 3yo year off a mark of 87. He certainly gave us something to get excited about when winning his last 2 starts of 2019, one by a 7 length margin. He remains entire and we have high hopes for him heading into 2002.

Sea Art, Velvet Morn, Jacob Cats, Huddle and Tesorina all won one race each. We head into 2020 with a strong team of 3yos, some nicely bred 2yos and a solid core team of older horses.
