Windsor win for Kingston
on 24 August 2019

Oisin Murphy steered Kingston Kurrajong to a cosy victory at Windsor this evening.

Sent off the 11/4 favourite, the 6yo gelding always looked to be on top, tucked in behind the leaders and travelling sweetly. There was a moment when it looked like the gaps may not open, but he weaved his way through to see off Ralph Beckett's Recondite by a neck.

This horse is very game and consistent and the drop back in class to this 0-75 saw him to good effect. Although he has been placed 3 times this year, this was his first win of the season.

Congratulations to longstanding owners Canisbay Bloodstock who enjoyed an across the card double with Lawn Ranger winning at Goodwood.
