Seinesational strikes at Sandown
on 15 June 2019

Seinesational notched up his sixth career win at Sandown this afternoon.

The 4yo son of Champs Elysees has improved steadily over the last couple of years and is becoming a reliable stayer, having won over 1m4f to 2m. Today's 1m6f suits him well and he handled the rain-softened ground nicely.

This was a particularly strong ride from the in form Jason Watson who rousted his mount out of the stalls to obtain a handy position in behind the leaders. The majority of the race was uneventful but Watson had to cajole Seinesational along in the last 3 furlongs when he sent him to the front. The horse is prone to wonder around once he sees daylight and needs plenty of encouragement to remain focused.

The horses are in good form with this being William's 10th winner so far this term.  Sea Art lines up at Salisbury tomorrow and we hope that he will be able to add his name to the winners' board!
