Sir Busker adds to Goodwood winners
on 09 June 2019

Sir Busker rounded off the weekend nicely when pulling clear of the field to win the 7f 0-75 handicap at Goodwood this afternoon.

The race did not go entirely to plan, but the 3yo son of Sir Prancealot settled happily at the back of the pack for much of the race. He met plenty of trouble in running when trying to lay down his challenge up the inside rail, but jockey of the moment Oisin Murphy was able to find a gap.

Once in the daylight he quickened away impressively. This horse has always shown plenty of ability and it is nice to get him back on track. The first time visor helped him keep his focus and he should progress further throughout the season.  This was his second career win from just a handful of runs so there is plenty left in the tank!

Congratulations to owners Kennet Valley Thoroughbreds and to the hard working team at home.
