Tesorina off the mark at Lingfield
on 15 February 2019

Tesorina treated her owners to a much anticipated visit to the winner's enclosure when returning victorious in the final race of the card at Lingfield today.

The 4yo daughter of Lilbourne Lad has been placed several times throughout her career to date, but had not managed to get her head in front until this afternoon. The application of the visor, combined with the front running tactics seem to have brought about significant improvement.

Richard Kingscote was a last minute substitute for sidelined jockey Adam Kirby and he gave the filly a perfect ride from the front. A couple of reminders turning for home saw the pair pull clear of their rivals. Eased down a touch before the line, the winning margin was a neck, but this win is sure to have given Tesorina a confidence boost and we hope that she can build on this.

We are all delighted that racing has resumed amidst the equine flu scare and are looking forward to the start of the turf season next month!
