Seinesational off the mark
on 11 June 2018

It may have been alongside the Thames rather than the Seine, but Seinesational was nothing short of just that when winning at Windsor this evening!

Sent off the 11/4 favourite following three promising runs this term, the 3yo son of Champs Elysees justified his price to break his maiden tag at the sixth time of asking. Drawn widest of all, jockey Martin Harley ensured that he broke well and maintained a handy position throughout. He was travelling so well that he almost hit the front too soon, but he kept on gamely to win by just under 2 lengths.

This gelding was very weak last year and has taken time to mature, but he is certainly going the right way and hopefully he will be able to build on today's win and find further improvement. The visor has helped him to concentrate and we hope to see him back in the winner's enclosure again this year.
