Secret Art relishes step up to 1m2f in Chelmsford win
on 24 May 2018

Secret Art cruised to an easy victory at Chelmsford this evening under a superb front running ride from Silvestre De Sousa.

Stepped up in trip for the first time today, the 8yo gelding saw out the 1m2f with ease. Drawn wide, he soon made his way across to head the pack where he lobbed along very happily enjoying a soft lead. Silvestre De Sousa did little more than shake the reins at him turning for home and he quickly put 4 or 5 lengths between himself and his rivals. Secret Art soon had everything off the bridle in behind him and nothing looked like getting close enough to challenge. He hit the line with Godolphin's 104 rated Emirates Flier over three lengths back in second.

Hopefully this new trip will open up more opportunities for Secret Art who clearly retains plenty of ability and enjoys his racing.
