Secret Art scores at Chelmsford
on 26 April 2018

Secret Art returned to winning ways at Chelmsford this evening, under a typically strong ride from Jim Crowley.

He was quickly away but his pilot managed to slot him in behind the leaders until the runners fanned out turning for home. The 8yo son of Excellent Art chased down the long time leader, Pearl Spectre, to win by just under a length. Secret Art has been in great form at home and ran a very encouraging race to finish third at Kempton in March. He didn't appreciate the testing conditions at Newmarket last time, but found his form again this evening, to the delight of his many owners.

We have a busy few days ahead with runners at Ripon, Thirsk and Wolverhampton with hopefully some more winners along the way.
